Over the last few years, Siren Fleet has brought light to the darkest corners of the Alpha, Beta and Gamma Quadrants and highlighted and put an end to crime an acts of misdeed. Unfortunately, each day we encounter new threats, renewed enemies and fewer friendly first contacts but we are determined to defend the freedom the Federation stands for, the liberties it provides and face the challenge with the expert skill sets our formed Fleet has to provide in exploration; defense, combat, special operations, reconnaisance, major crimes investigation, diplomatic resolution, search and rescue, border security and internal safeguarding.  Alpha Fleet Alpha Fleet began in January of 2380 (Jan, 2003) when the Alpha and Beta Quadrants were rather peaceful parts of space; where hope lived and prosperous societies flourished. But the future catches up to us and the galaxy was not as peaceful as it seemed; just as the Federation was beginning to form unbreakable alliances with new Alpha and Beta Quadrant species, hidden evils that had laid dormant for so many years began to wreak havoc on the safety and security of the United Federation of Planets. With the 'Shinzon Incident' still marring recent memory for the Romulans and Species 8472 entering our space as a civil war breaks out within their society, the Liberation Consortium tried and failed to wipe out Starfleet with the dangerous Trinity virus, planning to leave the Federation without protection as it moved in and picked over the pieces. And as for the Borg...they are never far behind. Closer to home criminal activity, in the form of a small mercenary fleet led by a former doctor are a very immediate concern, their every activity seemingly designed to oppose the aims and principles of the Federation and especially those of Alpha Fleet. Sigma Division was founded in June 2007 by two individuals with role playing experiences both online and off. Each of the founders shared a desire to provide a positive and fun enviroment in which others could role-play. Drawing from past experiences in other games (both good and bad), together they drafted what they felt the ultimate Star Trek-based RPG required to be succesful. The result was Sigma Division. The game itself is based on the concept of freedom -- the freedom to write your character the way you want (within guidelines, see Databanks), the freedom to think and voice your opinions freely and without retribution, and the freedom to leave without criticism or harsh feelings from the game's leadership or remaining members. What the future holds is unknown. Although Sigma Division is new, and some of the idealism has been replaced with practicality, some things are certain: despite the game's current small size, Sigma Division will continue to grow, the creators of Sigma Division are still dedicated to the game's development and growth, and the writers continue to enjoy a fair, encouraging creative environment. |

The year is 2400. Peace, while still possible, is hardly a reality. Although it has been years since the new Cardassian invasion, the alliances made are shaky at best. The Federation advanced their territory, and its farthest reaching outpost in the Etros system now resides as the Quicksilver fleet. A fleet of ships were sent from dry-dock to this new system in order to patrol the borders and beyond in order to contain the threat that now is potentially hazardous to the survival of the Federation. With things as they are, the Romulans are debating their remainder in the Federation, as are several other races including the Klingons and the Andorians. USS Blackhawk NCC 74926: The Blackhawk is a formidable offensive platform capable of extremely fast response and advanced tactical maneuvering making it the toughest ship of its size. With its Multi-Vector Assault Mode, Cloaking Device, Metaphasic Regenerative Shielding and Ablative Armor, It can easily stand up to ships more than twice it's size, and still come out on top. She has teeth however she is still capable of preforming Starfleets traditional mission of exploration. In the time since the Dominion War an unstable peace has been maintained leaving room for science and exploration once again. This new view has caused several key system upgrades to the Prometheus Class Vessels now being produced Including new labs and sensors, and a single Holodeck.
